Vodori is a ~40-person agency of energetic developers, strategists, designers, and consultants located in Chicago, IL. We're looking for sharp front-end web developers to tackle a variety of programming projects, from routine implementation to complex code-building. The ideal candidate is a code-crunching whiz who speaks fluent JavaScript, dreams of the perfect software solutions, and eagerly rises to new challenges. Whether you're just graduating college or you're a year or two into your career and ready to step up your game, we'd love to hear from you.
Some traits you should possess:
- Demonstrated ability to take a screenshot and turn it into CSS and HTML that works in a wide variety of browsers
- Love of web technology and a yen for keeping up on the latest—CSS3, HTML5, whatever's coming down the pike
- A handle on accounting for some older browsers (*cough* IE6) and a knack for doing something reasonable with them
- An understanding of object-oriented programming concepts, and experience in at least one programming language (e.g. JavaScript, PHP, Ruby, etc.)
- Passion learning and working with multiple JavaScript frameworks, including Dojo, jQuery, YUI, etc.
- The ability to work in between designers and Java developers—turning the ideal into the practical
- A desire to innovate, invent, and improve

- Next Generation Content Management Systems - To make those websites manageable by mere mortals
- SEO/SEM - To make sure our work is seen
- Marketing Strategies - Often supported by the websites we create
