Vodori is a ~40-person agency of energetic developers, strategists, designers, and consultants located in Chicago, IL. We're looking for a passionate, experienced front-end development specialist to guide teams of developers, do some heavy-lifting development, and innovate the next iteration of our firm's web-based UI tools.
Some skills you should have:
- HTML and CSS when their successful cross-browser use is second nature
- Deep experience in OO JavaScript frameworks, particularly YUI or Dojo
- Experience guiding teams of greater than one front-end developer to ensure maintainability, code quality, and accuracy
- Ability to track development progress against a project timeline
- Ability to accurately estimate development timelines given a set of people
- A firm understanding of how technologies may render in multiple form factors
- Solid software development skills - including good source code management practices and the ability to adhere to a code design philosophy (into which you'll have a lot of input)
- A desire to innovate, invent, and improve

- Next Generation Content Management Systems - To make those websites manageable by mere mortals
- SEO/SEM - To make sure our work is seen
- Marketing Strategies - Often supported by the websites we create
